about the owner rachel appel
Rachel has an endless curiosity of people and the body. She has been active in the health and fitness field for over 15 years. She embraces her tough instructor reputation. Whether she is teaching a class or a private, Rachel is known for balancing her cheerful encouragement with butt-kicking workouts, all the while keeping it fun.
On a daily basis Rachel is inspired by the changes she sees in front of her as she watches people build strength and make health a priority. She has taught numerous cardio and strength formats, she is an ACE certified personal trainer, certified Pilates instructor, 200 hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher), Barre instructor, and Bootcamp instructor. Rachel's focus is to coach and motivate people to meet their individual fitness and health goals. She is deeply committed to the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle and continues to refine her unique brand of fitness, and relishes the opportunity to share it with others.
Rachel also leads our 12 week PRISM Pilates Teacher Training program each winter, guiding all of our teachers under her same principles and core values.
